Spectacular views

"We have been staying at Rainbow Place Apartments for the last 7 years and have always had a wonderful stay. Phillip and Amanda are perfect hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. The views across Coolangatta to Surfers Paradise are spectacular, the apartments are in the perfect spot - a short walk to the surf club and local shops and an easy walk into Coolangatta. We highly recommend staying here."

Magical nights at Rainbow Place

"We had 7 magical nights at Rainbow Place for my wife's 50th and she could not have been happier! We stayed in Unit 25; it was perfect for us as the kids and grand kids dropped in and out throughout the week and there was always plenty of room. The 270° view was sensational, but not just from the deck; even while lazing on the oh so comfortable lounge inside, if you tired of the ocean view (as if!) you could simply gaze out the window at the stunning hinterland view. Another bonus for us was the ease of parking and the proximity to great cafes and restaurants. We parked undercover on day 1, then forgot about the car for the rest of the week as we were a casual stroll from everything we needed. While you can reach out and touch the Gold Coast hustle and bustle, Rainbow Bay has that secluded feel about it. Not too crowded; plenty of off-street parking for the visitors and such a relaxing laid back vibe. By the end of the week we were on first name basis with the staff at our favourite coffee shop! If you think 'relaxing' and 'family' don't go together when describing holidays, try Rainbow Place, I reckon you'll change your mind! Maybe even try for Unit 25 and then you can update their guest book; we'll look for you when next we're back!."

Winter Wonderland at Rainbow Place.

"We have been coming to Rainbow Place apartments in winter for the last 11 years. The apartments have the best views on the coast and having breakfast on the balcony each morning, watching the board riders in the crystal clear warm water, is beautiful. The apartments are very clean, beds comfortably and fully equipped. All apartments are very quiet especially at night. The apartments are also close to Twin Towns for entertainment and Cooly for restaurants and shopping. The walks from Rainbow Bay, Kirra, D’bar and the Tweed River are simply stunning. Managers Amanda and Phillip are such hard workers and take so much pride in what they do. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Their extended family plus Jacqui and Caroline on the desk are delightful. We call them our Rainbow Place family. When we leave our little bit of paradise we always feel so sad but always look forward to our 6 weeks a year we spend at the best apartments on the coast. Thanks Phillip and Amanda for such great times."

Fantastic place to stay

"We have stayed in the same apartment for the last five years. The apartment is clean and has been renovated. It is well appointed with everything we need to enjoy our stay. The management are always pleasant and very helpful. The location is terrific, with the surf at your door step and a great place to have your daily walk. Close to shops, clubs and anything else you need to have a great holiday. Rainbow Bay is quiet but still enough going on to keep you interested. We will certainly be back."

"There is absolutely not a better location to be! Sweeping views of the Queensland coast line from the most southern beach in the state. Fantastic Managers who are friendly and happy to make your stay more enjoyable. The unit was very well equipped with plenty of plates, glasses and serving ware, large table to have friends visit, very comfortable and feels like a home away from home! Rainbow Place Holiday Apartments is a MUST for any families visiting the area.."

Best apartments on Rainbow Bay

"We have stayed in all of the beach front properties on Rainbow Bay over the last 30 years. There is no doubt that Rainbow place has the best configuration for a family of up to 4 or 5 people. We usually enjoy a seafood meal every time we stay, and peeling prawns with a view of the ocean, watching for whales, is definitely not a chore. We love the units they are very comfortable and so well appointed."

You want it - its right at your doorstep

"Rainbow Place is the ideal accommodation on the Gold Coast. Each unit has a balcony overlooking the surf beach over the road. (Sit back and watch the whales during the whale season). The units are first class, modern and spotless. Walk to the Surf Club for great meals or a 10 minute walk puts you in the main street of Cooloongatta with great restaurants, cafes and shopping. Morning walks along the beachside path to Kirra beach and good coffee is a great way to start the day. The managers are friendly and helpful and offstreet secure parking is available. We go back every year and love it."

Amazing views and location

"We loved waking up and watching the surfers catching waves across the road. The apartments are in a great location with a 10 minute walk to the cool D'bar café for brunch & coffee and 12 mins to the Coolangatta shops. We stayed on level 6 and enjoyed watching the daily beach action and the beautiful sunsets. Our apartment had a casual light coloured beach vibe and was very well equipped and quiet. The pool was a great spot when the onshore breeze came up. We will be back."
